System Installation Engineer

   • This role located in Charleston SC for immediate fulfillment.

   • Monday through Friday (daytime hours)

   • Full Time/Contract

The successful candidate will support the Enterprise Voice System program which addresses issues with aging, legacy private branch exchange systems at healthcare facilities throughout the United States. This role also covers current gaps in contract center functionality used in telephonic interaction with the user base. Successful execution is underway and currently the role of sustainment will support future expansion of the current Proof of Concept sites, ensuring the end customer and their user base receive continually improving IT infrastructure and services.

The successful System Installation Engineer has experience in executing the deployment of simple and complex IT systems, and ensuring that the systems are functioning properly upon installation; has the ability to solve issues that arise on site; has experience in a variety of deployment environments, and is able to execute based on written and verbal instruction. The engineer is to provide inventory, assembly, and staging of VoIP phones at the user locations located at their Charleston location. Testing and one-on-one support and follow-through are required. (All infrastructure and network configuration is the responsibility of the network team and is not part of this role.) System Installation Engineer will have the basic entry-level knowledge of networking, and any Cisco knowledge is a plus.

Additional Requirements

Completion of successful background investigation to include finger printing, criminal background checks to obtain site badging.
