Client Challenge

Collapse silos to improve transparency among the health informatics workforce at the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) and to support work efforts, clinical practice workflow needs, and expanded learning opportunities.

Our Solution

Veterans Engineering supported the creation of the Health Informatics Community of Practice (HI CoP), which included a new SharePoint site, messaging program, integrated master schedule (IMS) calendar, discussions and bulletins, and ongoing metrics production and reports.

Client Impact

Enhanced communication for the VHA health informatics workforce, including an IMS calendar in service and a formal messaging system that distributes information to several thousand individuals through multiple mail groups.
